Who we are

Intersection Growth Partners is a boutique retained executive search firm headquartered in Ross, CA.

As part of our work, we act as a data controller for the personal information we collect about candidates, clients, referees, and other contacts.

Information we collect

The information we hold depends on your relationship with us.

Candidates and prospective candidates. Contact details, employment and education history, professional qualifications, compensation expectations, CVs or resumes, references, and any other information you choose to share with us or that is relevant to a search. We may also collect information from public and professional sources such as LinkedIn, company websites, and publicly available filings.

Clients and client contacts. Names, business contact details, role and organization information, and details relevant to the searches we conduct on your behalf.

Referees and sources. Contact details and the professional input you provide about a candidate.

Website visitors. Basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies. See the Cookies section below.

How we collect information

We collect information directly from you when you contact us, share materials, or engage our services. We also collect information from third party sources, including professional networking platforms, public databases, mutual contacts, and referrals, in the course of identifying and evaluating candidates.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Identify, assess, and introduce candidates for roles we are retained to fill
  • Deliver search and advisory services to our clients
  • Communicate with candidates, clients, and contacts
  • Maintain our records and manage our ongoing relationships
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations
  • Operate, secure, and improve our website

Legal basis for processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing (such as under the EU and UK GDPR), we rely on one or more of the following: your consent, our legitimate interests in operating an executive search business, the performance of a contract, and compliance with legal obligations. In executive search, much of our work relies on legitimate interest in connecting qualified professionals with relevant opportunities. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest at any time.

How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to provide our services, including:

  • With our clients, in connection with a search, and typically with your awareness as a candidate
  • With service providers who support our operations (for example, IT, communications, and professional advisers), under appropriate confidentiality obligations
  • Where required by law, regulation, or legal process

We do not sell personal information.

International transfers

We are based in the United States and work with candidates and clients in multiple jurisdictions. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to ensure it is handled in line with applicable data protection requirements.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as it is relevant to our search and advisory work and our ongoing relationship with you, and as required to meet legal and regulatory obligations. Candidate information may be retained for future opportunities unless you ask us to remove it.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below. We will respond in line with applicable law.

Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No system can be guaranteed fully secure, but we work to protect the information entrusted to us.
